I designed the North Pole of the Trappist-1d planet for a study project. My colleagues and I had worked on in the summer semester of 2017 at the University of Applied Sciences in Hagenberg, Upper Austria.

About the project

Trappist-1d is an uninhabited habitable planet orbiting the dwarf star Trappist-1 40 light-years from Earth. Due to the low mass gravity corresponds to 69% of the earth’s gravity. The climate is characterized by an always sunny desert landscape at the South Pole and an ice-covered blanket at the North Pole. The two neighboring planets alternate ebb and flow in an 80-day rhythm. Flora and fauna have adapted to these circumstances.

Our team

My team colleagues were Doris Rastinger and Bianca Zankl, both incredible artists. It was a great pleasure to work with them.
