Now it’s official: I’m Lisa M Gierlinger BSc. Today I’ve finished my Bachelor studies with good success. I had to present my thesis and tell about my internship in Wiesbaden. It worked out great for me, although I was very nervous and make some mistakes by answering the questions of my examiners. It’s done! Gosh, I am so relieved. Bachelor thesis completed

I’ve completed my Bachelor thesis. Yeah! It investigates the character animation in realistic, two-dimensional cartoon movies based on rotoscoped reference videos. The main focus is on the original aesthetics of rotoscoped images in combination with other techniques. The theoretical part of my work aims to summarize fundamental backgrounds. Luminale Frankfurt

Yesterday I seek for some new inspiration at the Luminale. Around 200 lighting events turned Frankfurt into a city of light. The locations were showrooms, galleries, museums, churches, railway stations. There unusual places lighting designers, architects, artists, and initiatives present their innovative lighting projects. Hörmal-Kollektiv intern

Currently, I’m reading the book ‘Acting for Animators’ from Ed Hooks. I was honored to experience one of his teaching lessons at the FMX Stuttgart this year. This man is very impressive!
